About This Web Logbook

This is a lightweight, privacy-focused logbook that runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server — all QSOs are stored in your browser's localStorage. This means:

For contest logging, use the Cabrillo export format. For general logging and QSL management, use ADIF format which is compatible with QRZ, LoTW, eQSL, ClubLog, and virtually all logging software.

ADIF Format

ADIF (Amateur Data Interchange Format) is the standard file format for exchanging amateur radio log data. The export includes all standard fields: date, time, callsign, band, frequency, mode, RST, grid square, and notes.

FAQ

Will I lose my log if I clear my browser data? Yes — localStorage is cleared when you clear cookies/site data. Regularly export your ADIF file as a backup. We recommend exporting after every operating session.

Can I import from another logbook? Not yet. Import functionality is planned for a future update. For now, you can manually enter key contacts or keep this as a secondary/shack logbook.

Does this support contest exchange fields? Basic Cabrillo export is available. For full contest support with serial numbers and multipliers, dedicated contest logging software is recommended.
